§ 19-8.4. Truck Routes Designated.

  • Those streets and parts of streets established by resolution of the Council are hereby declared to be truck routes for the movement of vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight of three (3) tons. Where truck routes have not been designated, the City Manager may designate the most direct route in or out, or through the City for vehicles exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of three (3) tons, and in the case of frequent users require the posting of a cash bond, irrevocable letter of credit, or passbook account in an amount to be determined by the City Manager sufficient to cover the cost of any repairs made necessary by the movement of such trucks over any City street.
