  • The Council does hereby determine and declare that the following speed limits are most appropriate to facilitate the orderly movement of traffic and is reasonable and safe and that the prima facie speed limits of the following streets shall be as hereinafter set forth:

    a.

    45 MPH Zone:

    1.

    Meats Avenue from Santiago Boulevard to North City limit.

    b.

    40 MPH Zone:

    1.

    Wanda Road from Collins Avenue to Lincoln Street.

    2.

    Wanda Road from Lincoln Street to Villa Park Road.

    3.

    Wanda Road from Villa Park Road to Santiago Boulevard.

    4.

    Villa Park Road from Wanda Road to Center Drive.

    5.

    Villa Park Road from Center Drive to Lemon Street.

    c.

    35 MPH Zone:

    1.

    Santiago Boulevard from Wanda Road to Center Drive.

    2.

    Santiago Boulevard from Center Drive to Lemon Street.

    3.

    Santiago Boulevard from Lemon Street to Sycamore Street.

    4.

    Taft Avenue from Santiago Boulevard to Center Drive.

    5.

    Taft Avenue from Center Drive to Lemon Street.

    6.

    Taft Avenue from Lemon Street to Sycamore Street.

    d.

    30 MPH Zone:

    1.

    Center Drive from Lincoln Street to Villa Park Road.

    2.

    Center Drive from Villa Park Road to Santiago Boulevard.

    3.

    Center Drive from Santiago Boulevard to Taft Avenue.

    4.

    Center Drive from Taft Avenue to Valley Drive.

    5.

    Cerro Villa Drive from Valley Drive to Rama Street.

    6.

    Cerro Villa Drive from Rama Street to Canyon Drive.

    7.

    Lemon Street from Villa Park Road to Santiago Boulevard.

    8.

    Lemon Street from Santiago Boulevard to Taft Avenue.

    9.

    Lemon Street from Taft Avenue to Robin Way.

    10.

    Lemon Street from Robin Way to Mesa Drive.

    11.

    Lincoln Street from Wanda Road to Center Drive.

    12.

    Mesa Drive from Lemon Street to Loma Street/Crestview Circle.

    13.

    Valley Drive from Center Drive to Lemon Street.

    14.

    Valley Drive from Lemon Street to Rama Street.

    15.

    Valley Drive from Rama Street to Loma Street.

    16.

    Valley Drive from Loma Street to Cerro Villa Drive.
